Lord, You are the way
To heal my heart today,
The cure to all my anxious thoughts and fears.
When I call Your name,
Within me there’s a change,
A love that cleanses all the ash and tears.

Gentle as a breeze,
Your love puts me at ease
Like water in the desert of my heart.
Lord, I need You now,
As much as You’ll allow;
When called to You I’ll joyously depart.

If You took pen in hand
To write Your love for man
The ocean turned to ink would soon run dry.
