Henceforth, I’ll follow Jesus, on whatever track:
Smooth and broad or rough and narrow, I’ll follow Him.
Since my Lord Himself assists me, I will not shrink back.
All the way into the kingdom, foll’wing Him.

Henceforth, I’ll follow Jesus, in whatever place:
Glad land or death-shadowed valley, I’ll follow Him.
Since my Lord Himself protects me, I’ve no bitter face;
Everywhere, until my last step, foll’wing Him.

Henceforth, I’ll follow Jesus, through whate’er befall:
Sunshine bright or cloudy darkness, I’ll follow Him.
Since my Lord Himself arranged it, I’ve no cares at all;
Every moment till day’s dawning, foll’wing Him.
