For Demas has abandoned me

For Demas has abandoned me,
Having loved the present age,
And has gone to Thessalonica.
Second Timothy four-ten.

Just as the days of Noah were,
So will the coming of—
Coming of the Son of Man be.

Lord, I repent. Show me mercy.
Save me from the present age.
Lord, give me a glorious ending;
I would love Your appearing.
